Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

Yes, technically Linda is a Hybrid Fur. Her Grandfather on her father’s side was a cat and her Grandmother was a red fox, making her father half cat, half fox. Linda’s mother was a pure fox and that makes Linda ¾ Fox, ¼ cat. The majority of her traits are Vulpine but she has some feline traits like her short muzzle and fur pattern. As a youth, most other furries didn’t seem to notice, assuming her muzzle just hadn’t grown in yet. However, as she began to hit Jr. High and High School, it began to get more and more apparent. Interspecies relationships are considered taboo, especially among traditional furries and Linda became incredibly self-conscious about it. She did her best to distract others from that fact through other behaviors that made her very popular among her peers, particularly the boys.
After High School, she went to a liberal college where the students and faculty were far more accepting of her species which was a fine relief but the social stigma still remained. Fortunately, humans don’t have as keen of an eye for such things and Linda found herself blending well among them. Still, even now, she’s sensitive about the subject and prefers to keep it quiet, particularly among close-minded furs.
