I’m happy you asked! I always like to discuss my process. I’m a mixed-media artist; that is to say that I usually do my linework traditionally and all of my coloring digitally.

I usually use Canson 9 x 12 Bristol paper and draw with a 4h pencil. If I’m going to finish it in graphite, I use a 2b and some blending sticks. If I’m going to go digital, I finish with a Koh-I-Noor .35mm Rapido Sketch pen. Then I just erase the pencils with a clay eraser and scan it in with my Canoscan LiDE 600f. From there, I clean up the linework and do all the coloring in Photoshop CS4.

I rarely work purely digital. The past month, I was toying with Paint Tool SAI and from time to time, I’ll do something in Photoshop but it’s bollocks for linework at high resolutions. I used to use openCanvas but it’s been over a year since I did a full piece in oC. As for animation, I’m all about Flash 8. I wasn’t too big on the changes Adobe made after they took over and the only reason I switched from MX to 8 was because Adobe hadn’t overhauled the software yet. I hope that covers it!
