Is the world of Seraph an Urbanized world, an industrial world, or is it like final fantasy where u have magic & swords alongside modern/future technology? I ask b/c when looking at warrior/desert Linda and Ri the witch, it's sometimes difficult to tell.

I guess I should clarify this once and for all. The official world of Seraph’s Neighborhood is an urbanized world at the technological equivalent of the early 1980s so they have electricity and cars and electric appliances like TVs and dish washers but computers are still rather basic and cell phones are just a pipe dream. Avian influences have accelerated the world of fashion and design so it may appear modern but it’s still a few decades off.
Then there’s the alternate stories; think same characters, different universe. Linda’s fantasy outfit as the Warrior of the North Wood is from a fantasy setting complete with magic and monsters. Her explorer outfit from the Wriggling Jungle is like an Indiana Jones type setting. And her Tanuku Suit is from a fever dream I once had on Nyquil.
Ri as you know her is actually from the official setting. She just dresses weird. I don’t think I’ve ever drawn her fantasy setting outfit… though I have drawn Mia’s a couple times.
I challenge you to be the next subject of "BAD ART CRITIQUE" Tumblr and nailing it!

Are you saying that they would ask me to critique bad art? Or that they would critique me? Cause even if I do ‘nail it’, it’s not very encouraging that I showed up on the thing at all. Also, the very premise behind such a tumblr is inherently flawed. It sends a message that it’s not okay to be a bad artist- which everyone starts out as. You may as well say children are terrible and adults are great. To ridicule bad art by amateurs is to discourage any artist from developing their talents. Obviously different story if they’re terrible and think they’re hot shit because those folks need a reality check but I don’t really have any delusions of grandeur. I know I’m mid-level at best.
Oreo is clearly anorexic.

I’m pretty sure she isn’t. After all, she’s modeled after me when I was a teenager and I ate just fine. At 19, I could eat anything I wanted and never gain a pound- though I never had much of an appetite so I’d forget to eat meals sometimes. I once went 72 hours without eating just because it didn’t occur to me.
That may sound like I just contradicted my own point but the not eating was pretty irregular and had little effect on my weight. Didn’t matter if I skipped a meal or had cake and pizza for a week, I was always skin and bones. I was probably thinner than Oreo at 17. I’ve found that real bodies can be surprisingly extreme- to the point where if you drew them anatomically correct, people would say it looks insane like my 5'0" friend with a 32" waist and double F breasts. Terra is vaguely modeled after her.
Wait, does the blue light mean that Oreo -wasn't- being sarcastic when anon complimented her tits?

Nope. She was being completely genuine.
