What’s with everyone thinking that Linda is the same as every other fox or, in this case, thing that is red?

Spent two hours setting up the folders on my FA gallery and clearing out the cobwebs (deleting ancient, crappy art). I’m going to count that as my drawing for today…

Is there any significance behind how ur characters are named (besides Oreo of the super lab mice)?

Some of them, yes. Linda, Terra and Jane were all named after people I’ve known (though they are hardly what I’d call fursonas as each has developed personalities all their own). Other characters were initially inspired by people but then had very different names. Leo was named after my Horoscope. Yari was named after a playing card and Ri was named after her older sister. Emily and Alice are both based on the same person and Mia and Leo are both based off of me. Lisa was more of a commentary character (also named after an ex boss) and Chahiro was named after a little girl in a magical film (which was originally unintentional but I’ve since embraced it). Tiaco was named after a restaurant in Florida and inspired by my dad’s Cockatoo. Grape was inspired by a fellow artist with many food-based-name characters and Florence came from a the musician I was listening to when I drew her. I think that covers most of them.

What statue does that butt belong too?

No idea. Just found it on Google when searching for “butts”.

As a millennial, I am often baffled imagining the fact that my generation of internet surfers, furry porn artists, ravers, cosplayers etc will one day be in their 70s or something. Not to perpetuate the stereotype of the nostalgic old person, but can u imagine one going "Back in my day, I used to yiff in the morning, blast Krewella, and return home late in the evening to play Battlefield 4 on the xbox!"

It’s less of a stereotype and more of a statistical eventuality. People typically develop their tastes for music, art and culture in their teens and 20s and will continue to like those things for the remainder of their lives. Why, old people today probably thought it would be a hoot that some day, senior citizens would be listening to Elvis and Frank Sinatra but hey, that’s where we are. In another decade, seniors will listen to The Beatles and the Monkeys, then Pink Floyd and the Eagles and before you know it, a generation of elderly folks will have Hip Hop and techno. We’ll still play video games with those plastic controllers on flat screens and everyone will taunt us for not using the wireless holo-empathy implants. There’s Grandma, refusing to get the cyberpad implanted cause she’s afraid the corporations will control her brain. Old people are so weird. They still talk with their analog mouths like cave men.

Did you ever played Captain Claw also known as Claw? That was an awesome platform game!
